We need to change the fact that so many voices go unheard.

  • Panos trains local people to draw out the personal experiences of people in their communities so they can share them with the world.
  • We make sure that decision makers hear the voices of the poor by bringing together policymakers, people affected by their decisions and the local and national media in a full debate.
  • We ensure that the public in both richer and poorer countries can hear the truth about poverty, climate change and their impacts on our world through effective media.

Why help Panos London?

Communicating how you feel about issues affecting your life is something that many people take for granted but millions of poor and marginalised people around the world never get the chance to have their voices heard.

Millions of people also don’t have access to the information that they desperately need to make informed decisions about their lives.

We believe that efforts to transform our world by fighting poverty and creating greater equality can only succeed if communication is at the heart of all sustainable development.

Panos London needs your support to continue the work we have been doing for the last 20 years to enable poor and marginalised people to speak out and be heard.

A note about GiftAid:
If you're a UK taxpayer we can claim nearly 30 per cent extra from the government - so for every £10 you give, we can get another £2.80 at no extra cost to you
